Birthday Month...

March is a big birthday month around here...three of our kids have birthdays so it is a lot like Christmas in terms of so much planning and trying to make things special for each of them.  This year has been hard for me personally to do birthdays the way I have always done birthdays for my kids so it was a little bittersweet for me...especially since we had two big milestone birthdays for our two oldest...16 and 18.  We did the best job we could and now we just hope they don't end up in counseling because they did not get the royal treatment they are used to getting!

Madison is going to NYC in June with me...it is something she has always wanted to do and so with the help of  several people we are going to get to make that dream come true!

This is the beginning of a trick we played on Makenna...

Makenna found an IPhone 4S in this box of mini muffins...she thought  the IPod shuffle was her big gift (and she was very content with that...but that was actually a gift from Grandma and Grandpa)

She started crying because we had told her there was no way that we were getting her a phone until the beginning of 6th grade...but after thinking about how often she is waiting around for us and how often practice times change we decided now was a good time.

She is a Daddy's girl that is for sure...

 These two have gotten super close this past year...she adores her big brother and he pretty  much feels the same way about her!

 Coulter and Bill have been working on the Mustang pretty much non stop for the last two years...they have finally reached the time that they are fine tuning things so the only thing Coulter wanted was things for his car!

I can not believe that this 18 year old is our amazing son...what a blessing and a privilege it is to be his parents.
