End of the School Year Fun...Goodbye First Grade!

Merideth had a great year. Her reading soared and her math concepts improved like crazy. She had fantastic grades, fabulous behavior and fun times with her friends. Her teacher was Mrs. Thomas and it was a perfect fit for our chatty creative girl! I really enjoyed being the room mom this year and getting the chance to be a part of all the fun parties as well as making sure the teacher had what she needed.

Our PTA planned a fun end of year family evening on the playground...Merideth waited in line forever to get to sit in the chair and get drenched with water!

At the end of year party Mrs. Thomas gave out awards after we were done having our snack and before we did our craft.  Can you tell you that she is super excited to hear what her teacher has to say and how her classmates voted?

Merideth received the most creative award and one other award (but for the life of me I can't remember right now!)
