Last days of second grade

Merideth has enjoyed second grade immensely.  She loved her teacher Mrs. Glass and she thrived on playing soccer with her friends at recess...she also managed to improve her reading a great deal and show us how smart she is in math.  I had the privilege of being a room mom so I got the chance to know the kids pretty well.  She had a sweet class that was full of friendly smart kiddos.

Merideth with Mrs. Glass.  Her teacher had lots of patience and probably gave her a few to many chances sometimes...but Merideth loved going to school and that is a wonderful feeling as a parent.

Merideth wants me to be sure to remember that her class was filled with hilarious jokesters!

This was Merideth's last day of school and of riding the bus...she was in a rush to get to the bus stop to hang out with the kids from our court one last time before summer! So this is the "hurry up mom...I have things to do" face.
