For Blake's last football game a cold front blew in and it finally felt like football weather!! Blake played really well but the team was beat pretty badly...overall the football experience has been exactly that...an experience that allowed Blake to have a group for his first year at a very large high school, complete his PE credit and stay in shape for lacrosse. The jury is still out if Blake will continue his football career but for now, we are proud of Blake for working so hard, getting up EARLY every morning for practice and finishing what he started. Those of you who don't live in Texas, it is probably hard for you to believe that over 150 freshman come out for football...it's very competitive and it needs to be your first love if you want to go places on the team.
51 has made some great tackles, recovered some fumbles and blocked for a few touchdowns!
