Lacrosse in NY...the first tournament in Iroquois

 Maddie and I left NYC on a train heading for Rochester NY.  We took the 7 hour train ride to meet up with Bill and Blake who had arrived there for a lacrosse tournament.  It was the four of us for the long weekend and then Bill headed back to TX... but we sure had a lot of fun watching our boy play  his heart out on the field.  Blake has been blessed to be part of an amazing team headed up by Coach Terry and Coach Carl...one of my favorite things about being on the team is the expectation that the boys will be respectful, men of integrity, family first, school second and then lacrosse.. good sportsmanship is the rule~ always!  We have watched Blake transform on the field over the last few years and gain confidence in his life. The trip was a fun way to end middle school sports and look forward to what is ahead as a high school athlete.
