Madison Gets a BIG Surprise!

Bill has been looking for the perfect car for Madison for over a year.  He finally found a VW Beetle that he was happy with...he found it in MA...it was a car that was driven by a lady professor to and from her campus...she NEVER took it on the highway and it was on two and a half years old with just over 10,000 miles on it.  The car was transported to TX via a car carrier and we kept it a secret until we returned from our family vacation thanks to my friend Kristi. It was delivered to Busha and Bompa's house and then we parked it at Kristi's for over a week until we could figure out how to do the big reveal.  We had all kinds of ideas but in the end we decided to just send her out to the garage after she got home from a long night at a friends house.

She kept asking if it was really for her to drive or if we were playing a cruel joke on her...

This was the inaugural drive of her new car...just a few days before her senior year started~

Maddie has decided to call her Phoebe!!  It is the perfect car for Maddie and for the kids she gets to run around for us when we need to be at two places at once!
