Merideth's Family Birthday Celebration ...a little bit early.

Merideth got to have a special family birthday celebration with all of our out of town guests.  All of the other kids have experienced a big party with lots of cousins and grandparents and aunts and uncles...but since we live here now we have never had the chance to celebrate like we traditionally have in the past.  I was driving around one day right before our company came and the idea came to me to celebrate early.  Everyone was up for the idea and they all bought some special gifts for Merideth and enjoyed letting her have the spotlight in honor of her 6th birthday.

Merideth and Bill made the delicious cake...it was supposed to look like a favorite soccer ball. The cake did not disappoint any of us and it was all gone by the end of the day!

Merideth had lots of fun opening presents and reading cards...or letting her cousins and her siblings read her cards...everyone was so generous to Merideth.  She was totally spoiled and she loved every minute of it!

Can you tell she LOVED being the center of attention?  She was thrilled with  so many people singing her happy birthday.
