Merideth went to VBS this year at Trietsch Church with her friend Cooper. Merideth loved learning all Bible songs and verses that went along with each day. The church was transformed into a cafe and there was people everywhere dressed like chefs. One of the favorite things for Merideth was that there was a competition between a cow and a goat to see how much change they could get donated during the week. The cow was one of Merideth's little friends moms and Merideth thought it was hilarious to see her dressed up and running around on stage. I am grateful that churches in the community offer VBS...such a great way to spend a week in a hot summer.
At the end of the week there was a family fun night for us all to attend to hear and see what the kids had been learning all week long. It blesses my heart to watch Merideth sing and dance and do the verses along with the leaders on stage. I am so glad we went and look forward to going again next year.
