Our New Baby...Grand Piano that is

A few weeks ago my brother Brian sent me a message asking me if we wanted their baby grand piano.All we had to do was find a mover and pay them to bring it back to Texas  I really did not have to think much about it...Bill has wanted a baby grand for a long time. Bill got all the details worked out, Anna supervised the pick up and sent us pictures and today it arrived!  We thought it would take a few weeks to get it here but it ended up coming right away.  We got the "pretty room" all ready this morning and by late morning it was in its place!  We are grateful for the blessing that Brian and Anna shared with us.

Our piano arrived today!

The new piano looks as if it has always been there...and yes, that  makes two pianos in one room!  We really enjoy our 100 year old player piano, so for now we are keeping it.  We are hoping for our own dueling piano show in the next few months!

Bill and Merideth were like kids waiting for  presents on Christmas  morning as they watched the  piano movers set up our  new baby.

Merideth found this keyboard in the piano bench and she set it up and started to figure out the notes...


We are looking forward to hearing the music this beautiful instrument can play...Makenna has already played her pieces from piano recital last year and Bill has been plucking out his favorite songs as well.
