Spring!!!

These double knock out rose bushes are what we look at out of our bedroom window...delightful.

This is a peony that we brought with us from Crystal Lake. It from Bill's great grandparents house which makes it over 100 years old. It has taken us 7 years to finally get healthy looking plants.  We brought 4 plants and only two have survived.

I thought it would be fun to share some of our backyard with our friends and family who are just hoping that winter will end up in IL.  For us, summer is just around the corner...some days it feels like it has already arrived!  My husband gets all the credit for the beauty in the yard...he loves to work back here and really has an eye for color!
