BFF's Makenna and Caroline

 These two beauties have been friends since they were toddlers...they have done all sorts of things together and have lots of things in common.  Soccer has been one of those sports that they have both done for several years now...they have been on the same team and they have been opponents...currently they are not on the same team but once they get off the field they are two peas in a pod!  I am so grateful that Makenna has had a neighbor friend for so long and that they always find their way back to each other if they go their own way for a bit. Can you tell who the goof ball in this friendship is? Listening to these two girls laugh and giggle and share life is one of the best things about being  a parent.

Tonight Caroline supported Makenna by going for a bike ride with her to help Makenna train for a few triathlons that she hopes to do this spring and summer...not many friends would ride for 45 minutes and then turn back to get the odometer so that they could be sure they got the right amount of miles in...and then head back out for another 3 plus miles on a Friday night when other friends were calling asking them to make plans. After the ride the girls ate dinner together...filled with carbs to get ready for morning soccer games!!! These girls are serious athletes and they are only 11.5 years old!!  Look out world...here they come!
