Awards day and end of year party in the 4th grade

Her class voted her the most athletic girl ...this made Makenna very happy.  She has literally played soccer every single day this year in recess and its mostly with boys, she came in first place in the fun run in the 4th grade even after taking a nasty fall, and  gym was her favorite subject!

Ms. Nelson gave Makenna the responsibility award...she remembered to fill in her assignment notebook every single day, her I care folder was always signed,she always has her things ready and she always has her homework done.

After the awards were given out and the snow cones were slurped, and the popcorn was eaten, the rest of the time was spent playing minute to win it games.  It was a fun way for the kids to hang out and enjoy being a class for one more day.

The idea was to get the cookie from your forehead into your mouth without using your hands...of course Makenna was the first girl done!

The crazy class one more time...

Makenna and Mrs. Nelson...it has been a wonderful year. Makenna  loved being in Mrs. Nelson's class. She was the perfect teacher for us,we feel blessed to have had her for our first year back in public school.  Mrs. Nelson has a great personality and sense of humor, she runs a structured class but gives the kids time and freedom to be kids and wants the kids to have fun as they learn and she also gives great hugs...all things that are important to Makenna.

We are ready for summer....
