Box Lacrosse

This summer Blake is playing box lacrosse to keep his skills up and have fun.  The teams were split up and consist of kids going into 6th,7th and 8th grade.  It is never the same group as kids come and go when the schedule allows.  Basically, the boys play lacrosse on a tennis court.  The rules are pretty much the same but there is no checking allowed and the boys are only wearing helmets and arm pads.  One hour doesn't seem like a long time but let me tell you...in the triple digit heat the boys are so sweaty and exhausted when they finish that I don't think they could go much longer without getting hurt.Our family really like lacrosse and hopes to continue being involved for a long time.
