Another swim team season is underway...Makenna is the only one participating this year.  We have a new coach and he has really made a big difference in how the kids are learning to swim and have fun.  Blue Fins hosted the first ever swim meet at the community center this weekend...the town of Flower Mound did a great job and the parents on the team showed up in force to host one of the best meets we have ever been to.  One more week of meets until regional... so far Makenna has received one first place, three second places, one third and one fourth overall.  Since soccer is her first love she often has to miss swim practice for soccer but being the true athlete she is she finds time to get in the pool and swim laps so that she will be ready for the meets on the weekends.
